Once a working dog, always a working dog. In 2022, Cowboy retired from a lifetime as a rancher's companion and joyfully took up herding humans at LGCR, embracing his well-deserved retirement.

After a long day of keeping staff and volunteers corraled, nothing pleased him more than a soak in the tub and a massage to help his achy arthritic joints.

We are missing this big boy, who used a low, bass-like growl to express his displeasure about requiring a low-fat diet in his golden years.
