Suni: Lifesaving Hysterectomy

Pyometra is a serious and life-threatening infection in the uterus. The condition must be treated quickly and aggressively. It is most common in older, unspayed dogs. Hormones cause the uterine lining to thicken, and this becomes more pronounced with age. This abnormal lining is prone to infection.
Suni’s Ovariohysterectomy Histopathology
The uterus was filled with infection pyometra, and Suni recovered without incident. Happy to be back home in her Senior2Senior foster parents’ arms. We await final pathology reports on her ovaries.
Meet Ren: Rural Roadside Rescue Recipient
**Join me in preventing sadistic pleasure.**
Violence against animals refers to intentional harm or mistreatment, which is ethically wrong and legally punishable. It includes physical abuse, emotional torment, neglect, and sexual exploitation. Sexual abuse can involve forcing intercourse or causing harm to sexual organs, severely affecting an animal's physical and emotional well-being.
**Ren's Journey: A New Chapter**
For two weeks, rumors and images of abused puppies circulated on social media and among animal welfare rescue groups in Central Texas. His name is Ren, and he has a long journey of physical and emotional rehabilitation. Fortunately, there is no better place in Texas for him to feel safe and loved for life…
