Romeo
A dog born deaf (congenital deafness) doesn't know it's missing anything and can flourish in a world that doesn't see them as having a deficit. When we define the value of a dog's life by human "disability" standards, they become marginal entities.
At age two, Romeo's Great Pyrenees life journey fell short of the exuberance most puppies receive from humans. Shortly after birth, he was abandoned on a rural roadside, and potential adopters overlooked him for two years due to his bilateral deafness.
Today, Romeo's life is undergoing a remarkable transformation as a ranch resident. This new chapter is filled with promise, wonderment, learning hand signals, and, most importantly, the daily transformative power of love. Ranch Pals can play an invaluable role in helping Romeo learn to take 'human' cues. We wish for Romeo to discover a loving family to call his own. With everyone's help, that day will surely come to fruition.
