Oreo Rose Hope, Health, Happiness Update
Periodontal disease is a leading cause of chronic kidney failure in older dogs. If left untreated, dogs with kidney failure will die, usually within a few days to a few weeks. What Oreo Rose wants her dad to know:
In my thirteen years, I never had a dental cleaning because you were afraid of me being under anesthesia. However, veterinary medicine has reduced the risk of anesthesia. I’ll be back on your lap someday, but not today. Instead, I enjoy every minute of my remaining life surrounded by my family.
XOXO,
Your Lil Oreo Rose
