In 2022, Lil' Man, who had undergone enucleation due to an untreated eye infection, joined our sanctuary sweetheart family. Today, he packed his toothbrush and leaped into the arms of his forever foster mom through LGCR's Senior2Senior Program.

In 2020, LGCR introduced a vision to enhance the welfare of senior dogs in Texas without relying on traditional shelter adoption. The Senior-2-Senior program connects senior dogs with senior citizens and veterans. Their forever promise is to share love, and LGCR handles all the rest.
