Shawn, an exuberant bundle of eighty pounds of love, filled our lives for a whole year, yearning for acceptance and the warmth of unconditional care that only a loving home can provide.

However, appearances can be misleading. In reality, he was fragile due to a life-limiting disease known as hemangiosarcoma. This fragility, unique to hemangiosarcoma, is something we can empathize with as caregivers and parents. Hemangiosarcoma is relatively common, accounting for 5-7% of all tumors seen in dogs.

Shawn's memorial portrait serves as a reminder that only love resides at Living Grace Canine Ranch.
