Resident Transport Assistance Needed

Good morning LGCR Community!

I've been asked to create a Volunteer Transport List much like the sub list we created.

Rhonda and Jolene are in need of reliable volunteers who can assist with transporting Ranch residents to/from our vet in Liberty Hill for regularly scheduled vet appointments during the week.

If you would like to be considered for this highly trusted and hugely valued Ranch role, please contact me.

Much appreciation for all you do!

Thank you Cindy for all you do. Karissa was nice and a welcomed addition to this afternoons walking. She worked with Lisa for a while and then she was on her own. I look forward to meeting Kathi & Becky.

Sacred Work

They’re called Cuddlers.

Not because it’s cute—but because it’s necessary.

They come not with agendas, but with open arms and unhurried time. They sit where the sun settles, where breaths slow, where trust remembers how to lean in.

A Cuddler understands that healing doesn’t always require movement. Sometimes it asks for stillness. A lap. A steady heartbeat beneath a fragile one.

Our residents feel the difference. In the way a body softens. In the way eyes finally close. In the quiet permission to restwithout needing to be brave.

He also collects baseball cards and comic books and serves as a small-group leader for both the Kids Ministry and Youth Group at Hill Country Bible Church. Linda enjoys reading, runs nearly every day, and is an active member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Together, they stay active through CrossFit, enjoy cooking meals, attend church, participate in the Hiking Club and Computer Club, and love traveling to California to visit their adult children, Megan and Matt.

At the ranch, their favorite moments are walking the big dogs — especially bonded pairs like Bandit and Texas, Nick and Noel, Valentine and Love, and Remi and Luna (affectionately nicknamed the Lunatics). Getting Luna into her harness often turns into…
