Well House Wrap Up

There are many things that happen behind the scenes at the Ranch, enabling it to run smoothly and efficiently, but which volunteers never see.

 

The location of one of these is the burgundy building that houses the well for the Ranch (or as you Texans call it – our tank).  Over the years, the inside of this building became a dumping ground for anything and everything at the Ranch that did not otherwise have a place.  There were times you could barely get into it much less, move around or find anything.  At one point, it was even home to four snakes and a giant Texas toad (which is why this girl refused to go back in there until they were “evicted”).
