Whisper is one of over 300 dogs transformed by Project Roadside Rescue, launched in 2020 to support rural communities in Texas. In areas lacking animal control, we provide hope for dogs in distress, addressing issues from starvation to gunshot wounds.

Initially, Whisper avoided eye contact and retreated into her corner. We gave her what every trauma survivor needs: time, choice, and the freedom to come forward when ready. After nearly a month, she stepped out of her room on her own—because she felt safe enough to choose it.
