Buddy's facial scars, dog-bitten ear, and emaciated body speak volumes about his twelve-year Life journey. After a month of living at a shelter, Buddy showed no physical improvement, so they called LGCR for assistance. Through radiographic imagery, an enormous grey mass had engulfed his intestines. During a four-hour surgery, a bath towel became the mystery mass that had become entangled to the point of having a tourniquet effect.

Buddy is a gentle old soul with a strong desire to survive. The day he came home to the ranch was a turning point in his Life journey. At last, without a care in the world, Buddy's golden-tipped tail twirls, knowing, 'I am home.'
