LGCR invited George home from a Dallas area shelter upon learning of his untreated skin disease Malassezia Dermatitis (MD). The extent of George’s skin infection covered 80% of his body, including eyelids, base tail, and legs, and created a hairless appearance resembling elephant skin. At age 13, we welcomed the little Maltese/Highland Terrier that potential adopters did not want to touch to our ranch of forever love.

Your monthly support ensures George’s lifelong treatment, including a combination of topical, systemic therapy and feeding unique protein sources such as venison or duck.
