I usually walk some of the big dogs on Wednesday afternoons, but this coming week we will have relatives in town for the Easter Holiday. I won’t be able to make it. Hopefully there are enough walkers to cover all the dogs, but if anyone can fill in that would be great. I will miss seeing my buddies!
Hello Everyone! We have a great event coming up April 11th, 12th and 13th in Burnet. This town knows how to throw a fun filled, successful festival and Bluebonnet promises to be all that! There are several slots and days to choose from so I hope everyone gets the time that works for them. What inspires you to give your time to Living Grace Canine Ranch? In what capacity do you serve?
I started with Living Grace in 2020 after I saw the online story about Rhonda and her mission. I lost my little guy Linus the previous year, and I knew I had more dog love to give – so volunteering fit nicely. Senior and health compromised dogs need love and attention, and Living Grace makes that possible.
When I started in late 2020, I was part of the deep cleaning crew. At the time, we only had the small dog house which included 14 apartments. In early 2022, we started using the ShelterLuv database, which I took on as the administrator and did the database entry. I have also filled in where needed at the Ranch and during events.
